Chris has been teaching for over twenty years and welcomes beginners, intermediate and more advanced students of all ages.

Chris and his family live in the Fordington Fields area of Dorchester.

Chris is currently teaching children as young as five, and three adults over sixty years of age.

He aims to help students develop their technique and theory but at the same time teaches them music that they know and like.

Chris treats all students as individuals. He focuses on each student’s particular needs, whilst encouraging them to keep improving their strong points.

Chris regularly enters pupils for ABRSM grade exams and has a 100% pass rate. He has also successfully prepared students for scholarships at prestigious schools including City of London Freemens School.

Chris has a current enhanced CRB/DBS check.

Covid-19 Information

Social distancing is no problem as the music room is large and well ventilated.

Lessons online work really well, the prices are the same, and lessons can be offered over Skype, Facetime or WhatsApp.

How I charge for the lessons

Based on forty lessons per year at £21.75 per thirty minute lesson, the cost of piano is lessons £870 per year.

This breaks down to twelve equal monthly payments of £72.50 for thirty minute lessons, £108.75 for 45 minutes and £145 for hourly lessons
